Girls Count

A COLLECTIVE SPACE FOR LIFE SKILLS AND LEADERSHIP.

We believe that communities are strengthened when diversity is honored and every child is given an equal opportunity to thrive. Part of our goals is to ensure that every girl, regardless of income limitations, has access to our programs.

Gender equality can only be reached if girls are confident in who they are, passion about making change, and active members of society. We showcase girls' talents and interests so they can pursue their goals in a positive and supportive space.

Girls in STEAM

Girls in STEAM is a Canadian non-profit organization that supports access to STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art & Design, Maths) education for girls, women, non-binary, and the LGBTQ+ community across North America.

In an industry with disproportionate representation, STEM education should consider inclusivity for women, ethnic minorities, people with disabilities, and individuals with one or more identities who are commonly excluded from normative design space.

We aim to help balance the gender disparity in the tech industry through creating community, educational programming, and an accessible network for girls, women, non-binary, and the LGBTQ+ community to kickstart their early careers.
